Somewhere between the big screen and the foosball table, you will find the heart of New Hope - our "Kingdom Kids”. From the very beginning of our ministry in the area, New Hope has sought to reach children with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ in a manner that is both appealing and applicable to their age. An important tool in our approach is the use of Kingdom Kids ministry teams in which the children themselves minister. To learn more about these teams, CLICK HERE.
Children from first to fifth grade spend the entire service in Kingdom Kids every Sunday except the last Sunday of the month when they join the adults for worship and then go to their own service. Children ages three to four are with the adults for worship every Sunday, and then go off to Kingdom Tots. During the course of the service, kids will have the opportunity to worship with age-appropriate praise songs, go on adventures in the Greatest Story Ever Told (the B - I - B - L - E), and maybe even meet up with the loveable dog - Rovercomer.
Of course, all of these experiences are meant to do far more than entertain. We believe that children can be leaders in the faith and we tailor our message to help them reach their full potential as the pint-sized people of God!
Safety is always a primary concern at New Hope when it comes to our children. There is never an adult alone with a child. Those who work with the children directly must undergo an intensive background investigation before serving. Furthermore, every interior door on our campus has a window to eliminate potentially dangerous hiding places.
