Royal Rangers

Royal Rangers is New Hope's Wednesday night ministry for boys age three to fifth grade.  A program similar to Boy Scouts, Royal Rangers teaches boys to be godly men through Bible studies in age-appropriate groups.  Weekly lessons, outdoor adventures, and achievement-based advancements help mold the boys' characters at early ages.

As with all the children's programs at New Hope, all adult volunteers must undergo rigorous background screenings before being allowed to work with children.

Royal Rangers is divided into several different group levels.

Rainbows Club (Preschool children ages 3 and up)
In this club, children (boys and girls) learn Bible stories, do crafts, and participate in activities based on a theme of Noah's arc.  Rainbows achieve colorful animal badges they can add to their vests over the course of their time in the club.

Ranger Kids (Kindergarten through second grade)
In this group, a variety of indoor and outdoor activities form the basis through which biblical life lessons shape the boys' lives at an early age.  Children have opporunities to achieve merit badges that can be worn as part of the official Royal Rangers uniform.

Discover Rangers (Third through fifth grade)
Boys in this group advance at their own pace through a premier merit system that makes use of camping and other activities.
